Modi government has completely changed the politics of West Bengal in one stroke by
implementing the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). Out of the 42 Lok Sabha seats in the state, there are at least eight such seats where BJP is seeing a direct lead after the implementation of this law. On the basis of various internal surveys, Modi government has decided to implement CAA just before the elections. The Modi government at the Center had got this law passed by the Parliament four years ago, but it had not been implemented yet. According to information received by News18 from sources, this decision was taken after a large-scale survey was conducted in the border areas of West Bengal. Also, this decision has been taken after the reports of many affiliated organizations of BJP working with the Hindu community of Bangladesh.
मोदी सरकार ने नागरिकता संशोधन कानून (सीएए) को लागू कर एक झटके में पश्चिम बंगाल की राजनीति को पूरी तरह पलट दिया है. राज्य की 42 लोकसभा सीटों में से कम से कम आठ ऐसी सीटें हैं जहां इस कानून के लागू होने के बाद सीधे तौर पर भाजपा को बढ़त दिख रही है. मोदी सरकार ने तमाम आंतरिक सर्वे के आधार पर चुनाव से ठीक पहले सीएए को लागू करने का फैसला किया है. केंद्र की मोदी सरकार ने चार साल पहले इस कानून को संसद से पास करवाया था, लेकिन इसे अभी तक लागू नहीं किया गया था. सूत्रों से न्यूज18 को मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक पश्चिम बंगाल के सीमाई इलाकों में व्यापक स्तर पर करवाए गए सर्वे के बाद यह फैसला किया गया. साथ ही बांग्लादेश के हिंदू समुदाय के साथ काम करने वाले भाजपा की कई सहयोगी संगठनों की रिपोर्ट के बाद यह फैसला लिया गया है.
